CONCEPT
The Royal British Legion is the country’s largest Armed Forces charity, with 180,000 members, 110,000 volunteers and a network of partners and charities. The Legion wanted a public art statue that engaged the UK public and media for WW1 centenary remembrance and to raise awareness around poppy appeal. 

OUTCOME
Designed and built a public art bronze statue to commemorate 100 years of the First World War, 1914 to 2014. Delivered pitch to Mayor of London’s Office and the Greater London Authority to secure the Trafalgar Square site collaborating with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
